We at Cowles and Thompson understand how important the attorney-client relationship is, and we do not want to infringe on the relationship you have with your clients. However, at times we know that a partnership between several attorneys would best serve the interests of the client.

Cowles and Thompson is eager to partner with other East Texas estate planning attorneys, general practice attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, and other estate planning professionals to meet the probate litigation needs of your clients.  The client is your client first, our client second.  In other words, our firm works in a supporting role on a joint counsel or on a project basis, with the client returning to you for the ongoing client relationship at the conclusion of our representation.

On attorney referrals, we are glad to serve as joint counsel with referring counsel, to serve as lead counsel, or to simply keep referring counsel apprised of the status of the litigation.  We will do whatever is desirable and appropriate for the referring attorney and the client.
